Muhammad Ali

Born Cassius Marcellus Clay,  Muhammad Ali converted to Islam in 1965. He is considered as the most important figure in the history of Boxing. He is also nicknamed as  "The Greatest". 

When Ali was 12, he discovered his talent for boxing through an odd twist of fate. Ali's bike was stolen by someone, and he told a police officer, Joe Martin, that he wanted to beat up the thief.
Martin in reply, said "you better learn how to fight before you start challenging people" Since then, Martin trained him as a boxer and therefore winning his first title in 1954.
