Dr Mohamed Ibrahim

Dr Mohamed Ibrahim is a Sudanese-born entrepreneur. He is the owner of Africa's biggest cellular phone company, Celtel. Dr. Mo Ibrahim is also the Founding Chairman of Satya Capital Ltd, an investment company focused on opportunities in Africa.


He earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alexandria in Electrical Engineering and later completed his masters from the in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from Bradford University, and also a PhD from the University of Birmingham in Mobile Communications. He has received numerous honorary degrees and fellowships from  different  institutions. Dr Ibrahim is also the recipient of a number of awards including The GSM Association's Chairman's Award for Lifetime Achievement .

 In 2007 he started the "Mo Ibrahim Prize for Achievement in African Leadership", which awards a $5 million initial payment, and a $200,000 a year  for life to African heads of state who deliver security, health, education and economic development to their constituents. He is also the Founding Chairman of Satya Capital Ltd, an investment company focused on opportunities in Africa.

Omid  Kordestani

Omid  Kordestani  is an Iranian-American businessman who is senior advisor to the CEO and Founders at Google. He was 12th employee of Google when he joined it in 1999. Omid is also Non-Executive Director at Vodafone. In 2006, he was in the list of Time Megazine's "100 People Who Shape Our World". He is also one of the richest Muslims in the World.

Arfa Karim

Arfa Abdul Karim Randhawa was a Pakistani computer genius. She died in 2011 after suffering a cardiac arrest. She was a record holder for being the world's youngest  Microsoft Certified Professional. Arfa achieved this feat only when she was only 9 years old. She represented her nation in many of the international conferences. Arfa was awarded with Salaam Pakistan Youth Award at the age of 10.

Azim Premji

Azim Premji is one the of richest Indians. He is the chairman of Wipro Technologies, which is the third largest IT services company in India. He holds 84% of the company's shares as listed in Bombay and New York stock exchanges. According to Forbes, he is the 36th richest man in the world with a fortune estimated at $ 16.8 billion.  He is also a well known philanthropist. He is nicknamed as 'Indian Bill Gates'.

Azim Premji, a graduate in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, USA. He has received numerous honors and accolades, which he dedicates to Team Wipro. He is the first Indian recipient of the Faraday Medal. New york based magazine Business Week featured him on their cover of the October 2003 issue with the sobriquet "India's Tech King" and also listed him amongst the top 30 entrepreneurs in world history in July 2007.

Azim Premji is the 2nd richest person in India after Reliance Industries Ltd. chairman Mukesh Ambani. Despite all his enormous wealth, Premji is a very humble and down to earth personality. In 2001 Premji contributed a large amount of his wealth in the establishment of the Azim Premji Foundation, a non-profit organization that focuses on making improvements in children’s education and welfare.
