Lubna Agha
Lubna Agha was an American-Pakistani painter. She was one of the leading woman artist of South Asia, particularly of Pakistan. Her paintings have been displayed in art museums and galleries all over the world, including Pakistan, United Kingdom, Jordan, Switzerland, and the United States of America.

Belonging to a family which moved from Delhi, Lubna Agha was born in Quetta in the Baluchistan province of Pakistan in 1949. She completed her schooling in Pakistan's southern most city of Karachi. She inherited the flair of art from her mother who was skilled in embroidery. Lubna joined the Mina School of Art, which was later renamed as 'Karachi School of Art. She graduated in 1967 and taught at the Imam Ali Central Institute of Art. She got married to art writer Yusuf Agha. 

Lubna was a successful graphic designer. Her paintings were mostly made on wood and canvas, depict ordinary objects using the patterns and narratives in the Islamic art. She was a senior art director for a major business communication agency in Boston. She died at Brookline in Massachusetts at the age of 63.
